Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
after Myrilla, a nick name of the architect Damokopos, who build a theatre at Syracuse (5th century BC), from Greek: μύρρα (myrre tree, Commiphora, Burseraceae) + -illa (diminutive suffix)
