Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
Latin: semi (half) + alius (another, other); named for the intermediate features of the aedeagus, i.e., shaft apex as in Colistra parvulus (Linnavuori, 1961), and elongate preatrium as in Colistra bucapitatus (Stiller & Webb, 2022) and Colistra acapitatus (Stiller & Webb, 2022).
